Retweet the contest message, which will be posted on the @villagroup Twitter page.
 
Winners will be drawn every 4 weekdays over the course of 25 days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays), and announced on the @villagroup Twitter page. If you’re one of the winners, we are going to direct message you via Twitter and you need to respond via direct message within 48 hours.  Limit one entry per person/twitter address.
 
 
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER, PLAY OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THE FOLLOWING GIVEAWAY IS INTENDED FOR RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA ONLY.
DESCRIPTION OF GIVEAWAY: Via online method only, entrants will have the opportunity to win one of six (6) vacation stays of 4 days, 3 nights for two (2) at a Villa Group Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit. Entrants must be a follower of @villagroup on twitter.com and must retweet the contest message sent by @villagroup which will be posted on the @villagroup Twitter page.
ELIGIBILITY: The Villa Group (TVG) "Tweetstakes" promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Canada who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers and representatives of The Villa Group, Resortcom and their respective affiliated companies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee (collectively, the "Promotion Entities"), are not eligible.
TIMING: The Tweetstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (PST) November 10th, 2009 and ends at 11:59 a.m. PST, December 14th, 2009 (the "Promotional Period").
 HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit www.twitter.com and become a follower of @villagroup. Then, retweet the contest message sent by @villagroup, which will be posted on the @villagroup Twitter page.  Winner will be announced on the @villagroup page and notified by direct message. You will be required to reply back to @villagroup by direct message via twitter within forty-eight (48) hours if you have been notified you are a winner. Limit one (1) entry per person/twitter address.
For all Entries: Limit: You may enter the Promotion one (1) time during the Promotion Period. Any attempts by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different Twitter accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified.
PRIZE WINNERS, PRIZE SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:  This is a game of chance. Odds of winning are based on eligible number of entries, the random drawing will be conducted from amongst all eligible entries received. Prize winners will be announced on the @villagroup page, notified via direct message and asked to respond via direct message within forty-eight (48) hours. If any winner notification remains unanswered for more than forty-eight (48) hours, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected. The prizes are not transferable; no prize substitutions or cash alternatives are allowed.
PRIZES: There are six (6) prizes being offered, consisting of three (3) nights of accommodations in a one bedroom suite, double occupancy for two (2). One prize will be awarded per each of the following resorts (Villa Del Palmar, Cabo San Lucas/Villa Del Arco, Cabo San Lucas/Villa La Estancia, Cabo San Lucas/Villa Del Palmar, Puerto Vallarta/Villa La Estancia, Nuevo Vallarta/Villa Del Palmar Flamingos, Nuevo Vallarta). Prize packages estimated between $600-$1400 USD depending on resort and destination. AIRFARE/TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN WINNER'S HOME AND THE VILLA GROUP RESORTS IS NOT INCLUDED. Winners must redeem the packages no later than December 1st, 2010. Packages are valid for travel between November 9, 2009 and December 19, 2010. If winner is unable to redeem the package within the time period required, the prize will be forfeited. The package is subject to availability and blackout dates. The choice of the room is based on availability. Request must be placed no less than sixty (60) days prior to requested departure's date. Winner must obey local laws in regard to the lodging restrictions. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, airfare, passports and other documents related to foreign travel, personal charges at lodging, telecommunication charges, security fees, taxes and other expenses or incidentals are the responsibility solely of winner. Winner's companion must be twenty-one (21) years old as of the date of departure and must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. Winner's companion must also execute liability/publicity releases prior to travel. Winner and companion are solely responsible for obtaining documents necessary for international travel, i. e. passports (if applicable). Restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. No substitution, assignment or transfer of the prize is permitted, except by TVG, who reserves the right to substitute the prize or prize component with another of comparable or greater value. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.
PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Tweetstakes constitutes winner's consent to TVG use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
 Agreement to Official Rules: By participating in the Tweetstakes, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of TVG, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
General Conditions: The Villa Group reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond TVG's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by TVG in its sole discretion. In such event, TVG reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. TVG reserves the right and its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, TVG reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. TVG's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
BY ENTERING THE GIVEAWAY, participants release and hold harmless The Villa Group, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Giveaway or any prize won, including any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Giveaway. The Villa Group is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of the Giveaway or in the announcement of prizes. All entries are the property of The Villa Group and are not returnable. The laws of the State of California (CA), without regard to its conflict of law rules, will govern these Terms. Any action relating to this giveaway shall be initiated only in the state and federal courts located in San Diego, California (USA).
ONLINE REGISTRATION: Repetitive automated electronic submission of entries is specifically prohibited, and any such entries will be disqualified. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the twitter address submitted at the time of entry. In the event of a dispute, the potential winner may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the identified Twitter account, and The Villa Group’s decision will be final. TVG assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, including any error that may result in an erroneous appearance of qualification for a prize. TVG is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment or software that results in loss of entry. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY COMPUTERIZED SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGE FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
