Activities at Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa, Los Cabos

Our Activities Team is always searching for new and interesting ways to entertain you.

Come and join in the fun of beach or water volleyball. You could learn Spanish as a new language or even how to create your own favorite cocktail at our bartending lessons.

We continue your entertainment through into the evenings, with nightly dinner and theme shows at Tortugas. Afterwards, the nightlife of Cabo is still waiting for you to be followed by a beachside nightcap.

A large variety of offsite activities and tours are available to you and can be scheduled through our Concierge.

Daily Activities: Every day, from the hours of 10 am to 4 pm, complimentary activities take place at the main lower pool and beach area including; Beach and Water Volleyball, Pool Games, Water Aerobics, Basketball, Bingo, Shuffleboard, Spanish Lessons, Mexican salsa and guacamole making, Volleyball and Ping Pong. Wet & Wacky and Lazy games are also offered.

Entertainment: Activities continue into the evenings at Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa, Los Cabos with nightly Dinner and Theme Shows at Tortugas

Fishing: The crystal clear waters of the Baja peninsula offer some of the best sport fishing in the world. The area is known as the “Capitol of the Marlin” and Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, as well as Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Tuna and many more fish, thrive in the waters of the Sea of Cortez. Land’s End has the very best fishing fleets in Latin America and our Concierge will gladly be of assistance to you in planning your exciting day on the water. Reservations require a minimum of 48 hours notice.

Fitness Center: Our fully-equipped fitness center offers 9 state-of-the-art cardiovascular machines and 12 paramount workout stations with free weights. We provide daily yoga, kick-boxing and aerobics classes for our guests at Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa, Los Cabos. An Instructor is also available to guide you through your workout. Afterwards, take time to relax in the Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna before you indulging yourself with some of our inviting Spa services. The Fitness Center & Spa are open from 6 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and 7 am to 7 pm on Sunday.

Cabo San Lucas Country Club:  Get preferred access through The Villa Group

Golfers will surely enjoy this Dye designed 18-hole golf course known as the Cabo San Lucas Country Club. The Cabo San Lucas Country Club is set amid endless cacti and blooming Bougainvilla bushes and is the area's only course offering views of the famed landmark, The Arch at Land's End. Cabo’s trademark championship Golf Courses, designed by Nicklaus, Watson and the Dye Corporation, are just minutes away from the Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa, Los Cabos. The stunning beauty of Land’s End forms an incredible backdrop for a day you will always remember, on uncrowded greens with near perfect weather. Come and discover for yourself why golf writers have described Cabo San Lucas courses as “Eighteen Hole wonders”. Nearby courses include Palmilla (which is rated one of the top 100 courses in the world), Raven, Querencia, El Dorado and Cabo Del Sol. Kids in Paradise: Your holiday with us can be even more enjoyable for you, with the knowledge that your children are having their own fun at their own Kids Club, with full supervision provided by our highly trained and Kid - Certified staff. Age-specific activities are provided by our staff, Sunday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm for children ages 4 – 12, with a Kid Nights including dinner, arcade, disco and great fun every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Your reservations for Kids Club should be made 24 hours in advance. Our Resort Entertainment Office will be happy to assist you with your reservations.

Tennis: We have two Tennis courts available for our valued guests, providing for day or evening play. The use of our tennis courts is complementary to all the guests and members of Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa, Los Cabos. There is a charge of $10 USD per hour for the service of the lights for evening play. Complementary tennis lessons are provided, six days a week, at 9 am for Advanced - Intermediate, 10 am for Intermediate – Beginners and 11 am for Beginners. A Tennis Pro is available for private tennis lessons. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice is needed for a reservation and is based on availability. Private tennis lessons are also available at a rate of $35 USD per hour. Tennis Courts are open from 7 am to 8 pm.

Tours: We provide such a large variety of tours and excursions in Cabo San Lucas, that you are certain to find something to appeal to you. Whether you are interested in an excursion into the desert on an ATV, a cruise on a Glass Bottom Boat or a Pirate Ship, a Sunset Cruise, Horseback riding on the beach, Scuba Diving, Whale Watching (which is seasonal) or a romantic Moonlight Cruise, our Resort Entertainment Office will be happy to assist you with suggestions and your reservations.

Water Sports: The transparent blue waters of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific offer you unrivaled sites for Scuba Diving, Snorkeling and Whale Watching, which is seasonal. Our Resort Entertainment Office will be happy to help you with your scheduling and reservations.
