Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa is a Villa Group property that features 3,000 acres of unspoiled beauty along one of the most breathtaking spots in the hemisphere, including stunning views of the Seaof Cortez and Sierra de la Giganta Mountain Range. In addition to the golf and spa, the resort offers three outstanding restaurants, five swimming pools, beautiful beaches, tennis courts, miles of hiking trails, glass-bottomed kayaks, and sport fishing.
Part of a luxury master-planned community adjacent to the coastline of Baja’s inland Pacific marine sanctuary, Danzante Bay Golf Club has five sets of tees, ranging between 4,916 and 7,237 yards, and features wide fairways and greens that must be carefully judged but are never unfair. Most of the entrances to the greens are open — allowing approach shots to run on safely — while the holes along the cliffs feature strategically placed collection areas to keep errant shots from taking the plunge into the blue water below.
The resort is just a two-hour flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) via Alaska Airlines and is accessible seasonally with direct WestJet flights from Calgary, and from Tijuana via Calafia Airlines.

The Members Golf Invitation is the first time the full course will be open for such an elite competition, making it an event to remember. Biologically speaking, it is the richest body of water in the world given that it supports more than 900 varieties of fish and an excess of 2,000 species of marine invertebrates. Visitors from all over have fallen in love with the magical views and bustling marine activity during the day, but what most do not realize is that Danzante Bay is just as lively during the night.
Many marine species are believed to be more active in the evenings and late into the night, which makes for an incredible experience for those embarking on the LED Paddle Board tour at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto. In addition to the spectacular marine life, the bioluminescence that lights up Danzante Bay adds to the overall experience, making it even more memorable. Guests will spend their evening marveling at the stunning surroundings, enjoying the visibility of up to 6 meters out, and relishing in the touch of tranquility and magic that embodies the unforgettable evening on the water.
The paddleboards used during the tour are equipped with LED lighting so that participants can see deep into the water and far out into the distance. The lights amplify the grandeur of the experience, adding a unique element uncommon of other paddle boarding tours, in addition to providing a feeling of comfort and confidence for those who are unsure of being out on the water at night. An LED Paddle board tour is more than just an experience, it is an adventure you and your companions will be raving about long after your vacation is done.
Vacations are supposed to be about relaxing, creating new memories, and of course experiencing life like you never have before. One of the best ways to accomplish each of these goals is to head out on a wellness retreat or a soothing spa vacation. While many think of a spa vacation as being just for adults, more and more of the top spas around the world are catering to members of the whole family by offering treatments that are both enticing to younger travelers and good for their health. The Sabila Spa at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is taking a serious stance on spa experiences for the whole family by offering a number of invigorating treatments designed for guests of all ages.
At the Sabila Spa, children can enjoy a Kid’s Spa Day, where they’ll be pampered in a relaxing environment designed specifically for them. After indulging in one or more of a variety of spa treatments, including distinct massages, a mini Mani and Pedi, or a facial designed for their delicate skin, they’ll be getting started on a wellness journey that will hopefully inspire a lifelong love for taking care of their health and wellness. The Little Touch Massage is the idyllic experience for those embarking on their first wellness endeavor. The delicate massage, which lasts for 25 minutes, will help them to relax after a long playing in the sand. Children often love this massage because they get to add their own personal touch by choosing which of the scented oils they prefer. For those with a bit more spa experience, the 45-minute Magic Touch Massage is simply perfect. It involves the use of light Swedish massage techniques and Lomi Lomi for full relaxation. The spa also offers three 25-minute mini-sessions to choose from, including a manicure, pedicure and mini-facial so that kids can pamper themselves just like an adult would. In addition to these wellness-minded spa therapies for the young ones, children 12 years and under can enjoy their choice of yoga or paddleboard yoga, and meditation at the Sabila Spa.
One of the greatest benefits of the Sabila Spa services for children is that it opens up time for the adults in the family to indulge in a few therapies of their own. While kids visiting the Sabila Spa do need to be accompanied by at least one adult, the other can partake in a relaxing treatment while they wait. The vast array of spa services available at the luxury spa in Mexico makes it so that each and every guest can select a treatment that caters to their own unique needs and desires. There are Signature treatments, such as the Sabila Spa Signature Golf Massage, Specialty Facials, such as the Sea of Cortez Deep Cleanser, Full Body Treatments, such as the Sabila Salt Body Scrub, and even Balancing Treatments, such as the Lomi Lomi and the Balance Stone Treatment. Among the extensive list of spa treatments, guests are sure to find the one that perfectly suits their mood.
The Sabila Spa at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is a world-class facility that has received various recognitions since its opening. Not only has the spa been named one of SpaFinder’s Best Spas in Mexico, but Vacation Idea has also honored it as one of the Most Fascinating Spa Resorts in the World. Its fame is due in part to serene surroundings and mountainous views the envelope guests throughout their spa experience, but it also due to the fact that the professional staff go above and beyond to ensure each and every moment is dedicated to pure relaxation and wellness.
